Welcome to the home of the Mississippi River Classic!

We are excited to host our third annual tournament this summer in historic Dubuque, Iowa, overlooking the banks of the Mississippi River.

The tournament, the Mississippi River Classic, will be held on June 2-3, 2012 at the three colleges in Dubuque:  Loras College, the University of Dubuque, and Clarke College.  We will again have divisions for 11U (5th Grade in 2011-2012) through 17U (11th Grade in 2011-2012) boys teams.

Unlike many summer tournaments, we'll play "real" games... with the clock stopping on dead balls and certified officials.  All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games, with most teams playing quite a few more.

We feel like Dubuque is a great location to host an event like this, and we expect to attract many quality teams from Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and other states in the midwest.  We hope you'll consider attending our event.

3/1/12:  The flier and entry forms for the 2012 MRC are now downloadable as PDF files.

3/1/12:  The dates for the 2012 Mississippi River Classic will be June 2-3, and it will again be hosted at the college facilities in Dubuque, Iowa. 


The host facility for the Mississippi River Classic is Loras College's new Athletic & Wellness Center, which opened in 2008.  Games will also be played this year at the University of Dubuque and Clarke College.  All games will be played on wood-surfaced courts with certified officials.
